A GTB Away

The suspension of recruitment continues and we pushed through with woe with only around 20 valor Empyreans set to fight along with one another. We went castle hopping against Team Armada, Chaos of Legion, Hellion, Fishpond, Epitome, etc.

Here are some flicks from the woe:

The highlight of this woe was the last 5 min. We were defending Neuschwanstein against Fishpond and Epitome. We were able to keep the emperium alive but the unending waves of attackers didn't stop since we can't set up our first line of defense so I decided to give the castle to either one of the guilds with the plan of getting it back with 2 minutes remaining. After Fishpond took possession, we rushed back to reclaim the castle. As we reached the emp room, the heat of battle was so intense. There was blood spillage wherever you set your eyes. Balls of fire, violent hails, and gusts of wind caused massive destruction in the stronghold.

Swords craved and thirsted for flesh and blood. Arrows flew in all directions, killing anyone its path. The champions unleashed the tremendous strength which they have been honing, crushing anyone who opposes them.

As I was casting ecall, Vhon and Clutch were hitting the emperium but unfortunately a priest of the opposing guild cast aspersio on both of them while they were on frenzy mode, making their attacks miss on the emperium. They got mobbed and eventually died. Going back to the scene where I was casting EC, a professor kept on bugging me, interrupting the EC. He was following me wherever I go, making it impossible for me to successfully cast ecall even under the protection of Tom's devotion. I decided to go at pre emp and cast EC which I successfully did. One minute was left. Everybody charged to the emperium. Vhon and Clutch rushed to the emperium without hesitation and went under frenzy. But fate was ill. History repeated itself. The priest aspersioed them rendering their blows against the emperium useless. I was trying to strip the priest but luck wasn't on my side. Everybody else seem to have neglected the priest. With only 10 seconds remaining, all hope was gone. Both breakers were still under frenzy yet aspersioed too. Woe ended with us not able to reclaim Neusch.

Despite not being victorious, the thrill and excitement of this woe is unforgettable.
