Improvement

May 23 - It was again time for the much awaited War or Emperium. Everybody was enthusiastic as they prepared for the siege. After the supplies were given out, the Empyreans were set to defend the stronghold(Fadhgridh) from the previous woe.

Then the woe began. The first wave of attackers, Fishpond, assembled in the room before the Emperium. As they entered, the Empyreans raised their swords and charged into battle. We somehow managed to defend the Emperium. A new set of invaders controlled the pre emp and they were the Kings. They then started the attack but we successfully secured the area. Coalescence and Cognoscenti also attempted to break their Emperium but the operation failed. A fearsome guild combination was then before us. Blueprint and Fishpond simultaneously raided us. To our relief, we were able to fend them off. As we were trying to recover from the previous attack, the Kings came again to launch another assault. The Empyreans rushed back to the castle and defended the castle against the offensive team. The mentioned guilds and some other guilds attempted several times to gain possession over the castle but each and every Empyrean stood side by side to guard the fortress. There was no room for hesitation, no room for fear. Each Empyrean stood and fought valiantly. It was after 40 minutes when the invaders successfully took control of the stronghold. Our defense was weakened by the numerous attacks on us and the absence of a pitcher in the guild. I think it was Blueprint or Kings who got the castle.

On the last 20 to 30 minutes of woe, we were defending Fad. We managed to defeat the adversaries. The last minute of woe came. Vhon got Gondul and another breaker got Eeyolbriggar(sorry I don't know who got it xD ).

We ended up having 3 castles namely: Fadhgridh, Gondul, and Eeyolbriggar. Everybody was ecstatic with the result of woe.

I can personally say that there is a great improvement in the guild. Everybody, the trappers, whitesmith, wizards, lks, champions, profs, stalkers, and breakers, did their best. On this woe, I could say that the guild displayed teamwork and cooperation. The guild has grown so much compared to six months ago and it will continue to grow and house a circle of friends.

May 21, 2011

At last, I can attend a Saturday woe! The start wasn't so motivating at all since there was like only 10 members online so I decided to go castle hopping and raiding. But as the woe progressed, reinforcements arrived. I already expected that most will be late for Saturday woe. Most probably enjoy sleeping this summer so they woke up late. The members online went up to around 20 to 22. It was enough manpower. We raided Neuschwanstein and Rothenburg but decided to settle at the latter on the last 20 minutes of woe. With around 7 minutes left, Roth broke and we pursued Fadhgridh. We were able to establish a hostage situation in Fad and made a rough defense. Vhon broke Fad with 1 minute left and tried to do a last minute break but unfortunately he hasn't. Summing it up, it was one action packed woe.

Another sizzling woe coming up in 7 hours and half. /gg

Party vs Party

After the woe last May 18, 2011, a party vs party event was held. Each party consisted of 5 players(6 on the latter). The Empyrealism2 party was composed of Sextacy(party leader), Patronus Dei Rabanastre, Serene, ChipzAhoy, Snowflakes, Onslaught and Mi Chaii Hyun. The opposing team, Yare party, was composed of Stello, Kato~, Pally Top, Lucy Heartfilla, Khooky, and Death God. The objective was simple: Kill all the members of the opposing team. It was a best of 3 match. In the first round, Empyrealism2 got their foes on their knees. On round 2, Yare party took revenge and crushed their opponents. The Yare party went on a rampage and won from round 2 to 4. The event ended with a 3-1 score in favor of the Yare party.

With 47 members online, the Empyreans set foot to the battlefield once again.

Communication was somewhat a problem at first because of the number of people speaking in the chat box but we somehow managed to fix the it in the latter part. We went castle hopping at the first hour and a half of woe. We sought for defended agits and tried to take over. On the last 30 min of woe, we decided to settle at Rothenburg. On the last 2 minutes, Pally Tom, Clutch and I attempted to invade Neuschwanstein but the castle broke with a minute left. While we were at Neusch, the GM of Generals was able to discreetly infiltrate through our defenses at Roth and successfully ecall causing us to lose possession of the said castle. One minute left. The pressure was on. I decided to go to Fadhgridh but another guild was able to get it with 30 seconds left. The breakers didn't manage to do a last minute break so we ended up not having a castle. Despite not having a castle, it was one fun woe.

There were new faces in the guild but there were also some who took another path. A new breed of Empyreans will soon rise.

Dodgeball

Last May 10, an event entitled Dodgeball was held. The idea came from a server event held by a Force GM before. The objective of the game is simple, dodge the ball(in the form of marine spheres) as the name suggests. The rules are as follows: Only level 1 novices are allowed to join. Equipments are not allowed and the equipment window must be open at all times. No hiding or cloaking. No MS increasing items, cards or consumables are allowed. Lastly, you cannot return until the round is finished. The last novice standing or the last novice to die wins.

There were 5 rounds. In the first round Kheough splendidly dodged all the balls making him win the first round. On the second round LittleChips outsmarted the rest by staying at a corner. The last laugh went to Dare You to Move for winning three times straight in the last three rounds. Congratulations guys!

Since I had been very busy preparing for school stuff and had an hour of sleep for 2 days, I asked Bagz to be the GM for Monday's woe but unexpected things do happen. His pc failed to work leaving the guild with no acting GM. Despite the mishap, the guild managed to bag 2 castles, Fadhgridh and Neuschwanstein, under the leadership of Jovs and the assistance of EJ. The last min was very crucial since Fishpond attempted to break the Emperium. It was a good thing that the Empyreans were able to buy some time to keep them off.

P.S. No screenshots available. :(

Delay

It has been a while since I last posted because real life stuff has been so demanding lately.

So here I'll start with the woe last May 2. We should have gotten both Gondul and Fad but our breaker had a gravity error in Fad in the last few seconds of woe which caused him to be disconnected from the game.

May 4 - We defended Gondul for the first 30 minutes of woe but our defenses got penetrated because of the massive waves of intruders. This woe ended better than that of Monday's(May 2) since the guild was able to defend Gondul on the last 10 minutes while Vhon was able to break Fad with 30 seconds remaining with Bagz and me trying to defend the castle.

May 7 - Jovs took over together with Bagz and JP since I had classes. Sadly, there was no castle.

May 9 - I decided to settle at Neuschwanstein and we stayed there until the woe ended.

Sorry the articles aren't that detailed and breath-taking because of my limited time to come up with a better one. So yeah, just keep posted!

Mister Papable

Since I'm not available last Saturday's woe, April 30, Jovs acted as GM in my behalf. I made a short interview about the happenings and how he felt as a GM.

Toxa: What did you feel when you led the Empyreans
Jovs: I was tensed because I might not be able to EC. I thought there was a bug. Then Bagz arrived
and told me that I have to wait for 5 min.
Toxa: What did you feel after being able to cast EC?
Jovs: I was relieved. We were able to get Fad. Then I tried Holy Shadows. I was afraid since I
I didn't have a pally.
Toxa: Did you have any disappointing or embarrassing moments?
Jovs: I went to Bamboo Groove Hill and ECed beside the emp but we all died. So I decided to go to
Scarlet but ETL came. They were many so I went to Eeyol and ECed in the last 10 minutes. We
hostaged it. Then we broke it in the last 5 minutes. Three minutes before woe ended, I ECed
to regroup the team. Edmart was able to get Hohen in the last minute.
Toxa: Fun moments?
Jovs: Fail EC?
Toxa: Lol.
Jovs: That was not fun. :C . Conquering a castle because of your EC. That is fun.
Toxa: Last question. Learning experience?
Jovs: Teamwork is important. We were disorganized at first. And it's different if the members
are loyal and honest. I accidentally gave 200 ygg boxes to one member but he returned the
excess.

So that ends my short interview with our own Mr. Papable, Jovs. He was tensed in the duration of the interview. Lol.

So the woe ended with the guild having 2 castles.

Mazkara was the wowowoer of the siege.

Woe later Empyreans! Have fun!
